Horse riding teaches children in a way that classroom lectures cannot. Through interacting with horses, they learn to be thoughtful and gentle, compassionate, and empathetic. Younger kids can begin with some basic skills and can enjoy a ‘pony’ ride. This makes them slowly learn how to act and feel safe and happy around the animals.
